This guide will show you where to find every Curiosity in Final Fantasy 16. This guide will ONLY include Curiosities that count towards trophies and will not include optional Curiosities since they have 0 uses. By following this guide you will get the 22 Curiosities that are displayed in Clive’s Chambers to get the “For The Hoard” trophy, the 6 Signboard curiosities (also part of the 22 Chambers curiosities) to get the “And They Opened Up My Mind” trophy and the 4 Potion upgrade curiosities to get the “With Two Ds” Trophy. Here are the locations.
The Oath. Unlocked automatically at the start of the “Cid The Outlaw” chapter.
Ambrosia’s Tack. Obtained for finishing the “White-Winged Wonder” side quest during/after the “The Gathering Storm” chapter. This side quest can be found in Rosaria > Martha’s Rest.
Martelle Apples: Obtained by finishing “The Fruits Of Her Labors” side quest in the Hideaway during/after “The Gathering Storm” chapter.
Morganbeard Extract: Reward for finishing the “The Root Of The Problem” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “After The Storm” chapter.
Cid’s Goblet. Obtained for finishing the “Payback” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “Out of The Shadow” chapter.
Treated Potion Satchel. Obtained for finishing the “Weird Science” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “Out Of The Shadow” chapter.
Guardian’s Scarf. Unlocked automatically during the “Things Fall Apart” story chapter.
Continental Censer. Unlocked by finishing the “An Eye For An Eye” side quest during/after the Cloak And Dagger” chapter.
Hanged Man Signboard. Obtained for finishing the “For Great Justice II” side quest in Sanbreque > Lostwing during/after the “Cloak And Dagger” chapter (only after finishing the “For Great Justice” side quest).
Invigorated Moganbeard Extract. Obtained for finishing the “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “A Song of Hope” chapter (only after finishing the “The Root Of The Problem” side quest.
Expanded Potion Satchel. Obtained for finishing the “Even Weirder Science” side quest during/after the “Across The Narrow” chapter (available after finishing the “Weird Science” side quest.
Martha’s Rest Signboard. Obtained by finishing the “Rekindling The Flame II” side quest in Rosaria > Martha’s Rest during/after the “Across The Narrow chapter (must have also finished the “Rekindling The Flame” side quest).
Crimson’s Caravan Signboard. Obtained for finishing the “Trading Places II” side quest in Dhalmekia > Boklad during/after the “Across The Narrow” chapter (you will also have to finish the “Trading Places” side quest).
Scholar’s Bonnet. Unlocked by finishing the “The Inconvenient Truth” side quest in the Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You can start this quest by reading the “In Seach Of The Lost Tome” letter at the reading table after talking to Jill.
Charred Sparring Sword. Unlocked by finishing the “More Than Words” side quest in The Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You can start this side quest by reading the “In a Mood Letter” after talking to Jill.
Stola’s Quill. Reward for finishing the “A Tale To Tell” side quest in the Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You can start this quest by reading the “Making Amends” letter after finishing the “An Inconvenient Truth” side quest.
Model Airship. Reward for finishing the “Aiming High” side quest in The Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter.
Winter Mead. Obtained for finishing the “Silver Lining” side quest in The Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You can start this side quest by finishing the “Trial And Error” side quest.
Rusted Battlehelm. Obtained for finishing the “Where There’s A Will” side quest in The Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter.
Snow Daisy Garland. Unlocked by finishing the “Priceless” side quest in the Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You can start this side quest by reading the “Concern For Jill” letter after finishing the “Where There’s A Will” side quest.
The Triunity Accord. Obtained for finishing the “Three’s Company” side quest in The Hideaway during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter.
Briar’s Kiss Signboard. Unlocked by finishing the “Lines In The Sand II” side quest in Dhalmekia > The Dalimil Inn during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You will first need to finish the “Lines In The Sand” side quest.
Clayhearth Signboard. Unlocked by finishing the “Duty Undying II” side quest in Dhalmekia > Tabor during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You will first need to finish the “Duty Undying” side quest.
Veil Signboard. Unlocked by finishing the “Under New Management II” side quest in Sanbreque > Northreach during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter. You will first need to finish the “Back To Their Origin” side quest.
Medicine Chest. Talk to Tarja in the Hideaway Infirmary after talking to Jill during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter.
The Circle Of Malus. Reward for finishing all 7 Chronolith Trials (locations guide can be found HERE).
Once you have all curiosities, head to Clive’s Chambers in the Hideaway and examine the wall to get the “For The Hord” trophy.
