Elden Ring How To Get To Mohgwyn Palace Without Varre
In this guide we will show you how to reach Mohgwyn Palace without needing to interact with Varre in any way.
Since a lot of people take being called a “Maidenless Runt” quite personally, they end up not having access to Varre’s side quest (the fastest way to get to Mohgwyn Palace), in this guide we will show you the alternative way to get to Mohgwyn Palace, just keep in mind you will need to get to the 5th region of the game before being able to to this.
The first thing we will need to do is get to the west side of "Mountaintops Of The Giant’s”.
To do this you will first need to get the 2 parts of the Secret Haligtree Medallion.
The first half can be obtained by talking to the NPC camouflaged a pot in Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia, to find this village, go under the mountain with the spawm below it, then look for a slope on the side that will take you up to the site of grace, from the site of grace head east past some ruins to find a pot that you will have to hit to reveal Old Albus, talk to him to obtain the first half of the Secret Medallion.
The second half is found after defeating the boss in Castle Sol in Mountaintops of The Giants.
Once you have both parts of the Secret Medallion, head over to the Grand Lift Of Rold (the same lift you used to get to Mountaintops of The Giants for the first time) and use the “switch action” button and select “Hoist Secret Medallion”, this will now take you to the Consecrated Snowfield (west part of the region).
From here just head to the west side to find a lone teleporter with some blood around it, this teleporter will take you straight to Mohgwyn Palace!
