In There Is No Light you can find 23 Spider Toys & 39 Bestiary Pages. If you find them all you will get the "Friend Of Spiders" achievement (for finding all 23 spider toys) & the “Bookworm” achievement (for finding all 39 bestiary pages).

🎯 Here are the locations.

Central Station

Bestiary Page #1. From the Central Sation checkpoint, go straight up and in to the main building. Take the first door to the right in the long hall and then go down to find the collectible in the bottom left of this room (this path will be blocked at the start of the game and will become available as you advance through the story).

Bestiary Page #2. From the previous collectible, head back in to the main hall and go all the way to the top. Here you should see a hand symbol on the ground. Head left and go up through a hall. Once you enter a bit of an open area, head left and take another hall all the way to the top where you should then see a smaller hall that continues up. Take the small hall and then head left to find the collectible at the bottom of the medic bay (this path will be blocked at the start of the game and will become available as you advance through the story).

Bestiary Page #3. Starting from the Central Station checkpoint. Head up in to the main hall of the main building and take the first left. Head through the building and exit out the left. You will now be outside in a village with yellow leaves on the trees and ground. As soon as you leave the building, head straight up and past the arch to find the page behind a house (the path to this collectible will be blocked until time passes once. Time passes during specific points in the main story).

Bestiary Page #4. From the previous collectible, head to the left and then up at the pond to find a bridge that crosses to the other side. On the other side, continue left until you see some round tables. Here go up the stairs to find the collectible (this path will be blocked at the start of the game and will become available as you advance through the story).

Bestiary Page #5. From the previous collectible, head down and exit this village by taking the path on the left. In the next area with the trains, stick to the bottom until you can go through a path under a plank of wood next to an NPC, allowing you to be below the train (this is the path to the “Waters of Purification” area). Then just before you cross a plank of wood going down, head to the right, dash across the gap to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #1. From the Central Station checkpoint. Head out and then left (before entering the main building) and go through the Shanty town and exit through the train tracks. You will now be in another village. Here look for a train you can climb up on the left side. Continue on top of the train until you can jump down where you can find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #6. Head back to the centre of the village (where you climbed up the train) and go to the right of the tree that has eyes. Then stick to the bottom (without taking the path down) to get behind the barriers where you can now climb on top of another train. The collectible can be found to the left at the end.

Path of Sorrow

Bestiary Page #7. From the first checkpoint, head down in to the room with loads of machines. Exit this room by going to the bottom-right of the area. Here take the left path and go through the room to find a place that you can climb up. The collectible will be up there.

Spider Toy #2. From the 2nd checkpoint, go up through the room with machines. At the very top you will see a hall that takes you to the room with the collectible in it.

Bestiary Page #8. From the 3rd checkpoint, go straight down and then take a left at the train tracks. The collectible will be at the end.

Spider Toy #3. From the 3rd checkpoint, use the demon gate (if you don't have it unlocked, just continue on the main path until you see it). From the other side of the gate, climb up the ledge above you and go right, then down to find the spider toy on top of a train.

Bestiary Page #9. From the 3rd checkpoint, head up and then left to drop down in to a "red" room with machines and a catwalk. Climb up to the catwalk and head across the plank of wood to the right to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #4. From the boss arena, climb up to the right. Then head all the way to the wall on the right and then head down to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #5. From the previous collectible, head straight up through any of the two tunnels. Then continue all the wall to the top of this area by dashing to the metal platforms to find the collectible at the very top.

Mind Of A Fool

Bestiary Page #10. From the 3rd checkpoint, use the demon gate (if you don't have in unlocked just conitnue on the normal path until you find it). Then from the other side of the gate go straight down to the bottom of the area with the purple liquid on the ground. At the end you should see a platform below you to the right that you can dash to. The collectible will be here.

Spider Toy #6. From the previous collectible, dash back to the purple liquid area. Then dash across the gap on the left. From here go down a trunk and then left. Here go up and climb on to a train. Once you get off the train, head to the left and press a hidden switch in the left corner behind the red goo. This will open a secret room above you, containing the collectible.

Spider Toy #7. From the 7th checkpoint. Head to the right (backtrack). Then back around the left inbetween 2 trains. Then at the well with purple liquid tak a right (you will have to dash across a gap that is above the train you was below before), then dash across another gap just below a train on its side. Then continue up to dash across to another platform where you can climb up in to a room that is filled with explosive barrels. Here you will find a hidden switch that will reveal the collectible.

Bestiary Page #11. From the 7th checkpoint. Head to the right (backtrack). Then back around the left inbetween 2 trains. Then at the well with purple liquid head up while staying to the left of the train on its side (close to the edge). Here you will be able to dash to a platform on the left where the collectible is found.

Abyss

Bestiary Page #12. From the strange "tree" in the middle of the blue room (as soon as you enter the Abyss area after defeating the boss in Mind Of A Fool), head down and then left to find the collectible at the end.

Spider Toy #8. From the 1st checkpoint, head down then right acorss the dirt bridge (backtracking). As soon as you get off the dirt part, head down to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #9. From the 3rd checkpoint, continue until you get on the floating circle that you can control on the water. Once you are in control of the floating platform, head left until you are below the door that you have to open with the switches in this area. From here head down and then stick to the left to take the first left path that you can. Now continue going straight (left) until you see some stairs. Go up the stairs and circle around the water in the center. Once you are on the left of the water you should see a small thin platform you can dash to below you. Dash across a few of these platforms to get to the collectible.

Bestiary Page #13. At the 3rd checkpoint use the demon gate (if you have not unlocked it yet, just continue on the main path until you come across it). From the other side of the demon gate, get on the circle platorm in the water and go down until you see a big corpse pointing to the right. You want to go around the bottom of that corpse (watch out for the mine) and continue left by following the building around. Once you are on the left of that building, head down to find some stairs on your left. Use the stairs and follow this platform around to the left until you go all the way around. Here you will see some spmall platforms with wood joining them. Follow this path to the end to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #14. From the 5th checkpoint head to the right and stick to the big roots below you to enter the area below the blue flowers to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #15. Use the green demon gate at the 5th checkpoint (if you have not unlocked it yet, just follow the story path until you find it). Then continue up and then go right until you drop fown in to an area with 2 holes looking on to some water below (you will come here on the main story path). Now go to the top-right of the room and jump up to the next area. In the next area, go to the top-right corner and use another jump to get to the area above. Then go to the left where you jump down to the floor below. Continue left to jump up one final time to find the collectible just above you.

Depot

Bestiary Page #16. Just above the gate that connects to the first checkpoint.

Spider Toy #10. From the 2nd checkpoint, go down until you see a gap below the train on your right. Dash over the gap to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #17. From the 2nd checkpoint, use the spider web on the right to get on top of the yellow train, then use another spider web to get to the catwalk above where you can find the collectible at the end.

Spider Toy #11. Go through the gate next to the 3rd checkpoint (if you have not unlocked it, continue through the level until you come across it). Once you come out the other side, go down and continue across the metal platforms with poison on them. Once you get to a point where you can go left or up, take the upper path across the square platforms with poison on them to reach the collectible at the end of this path.

Spider Toy #12. From the final checkpoint, go down through the tunnel, then continue down all the way to the bottom to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #18. To the right of the woman singing in the white dress that you will walk passed on the main path soon after the final checkpoint.

Bestiary Page #19. From the final checkpoint, head all the way to the left and climb the spider web. You will find the collectible at the end of this path.

New Dawn

Bestiary Page #20. From the 1st checkpoint go up 3 sets of stairs until you are on top of a wall. Here go left all the way to the end where you can cross some platforms with the blue symbols on them to find the collectible at the end.

Bestiary Page #21. For this one you will have to solve the puzzle to the right of the 2nd checkpoint. Just go to holes in the order shown below to open the path to the right where you can find the collectible.

Spider Toy #13. Just after the 3rd checkpoint you will come to 2 moving platforms. Jump on the first platform and ride it all the way to the right where you can jump off on to another platform. From here follow the red platforms down, left, down and then left to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #14. From the 5th go all the way to the right and head up the broken stairs above you. Then go all the way to the right of the stone path where you can dash to a thin ledge on the right. Here go down to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #22. From the 5th checkpoint go up the same stairs to the stone path as you did for the previous collectible. Once on the stoine path, head right until you can go up some stairs. Up the stairs dash to the cave entrance to the left. Once inside the cave, you will use a moving platform to reach the top side. Here head left while sticking to the top to find the collectible.

Vault Of Heaven

Spider Toy #15. From the 1st checkpoint head up and then take the first possible path on the right. Dash to the cave and find the collectible inside on some stairs to the right.

Bestiary Page #23. From the 3rd checkpoint, head to the left and then up the stairs. Head up past the gates area and the go around the right path until you come to an area with 2 doors at the top of the screen (where enemies come out) and a long platform going down in the middle with a pipe on it. Go to the bottom of that platform and dash to the small area on the right to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #24. From the 3rd checkpoint continue and take the green gate (if you don't have it unlocked, continue on the main path until you come across it). From the other side, go right and destroy the breakable objects on the floor to find a hidden switch under one of them. Press it to open a secret passage to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #16. From the 3rd checkpoint continue and take the green gate (if you don't have it unlocked, continue on the main path until you come across it). From the other side, go left to enter a cave. Inside, head right and go up the final stairs. Then dash across the platforms to the left to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #25. From the 3rd checkpoint, continue through the level and take the red gate (if you don't have it unlocked, continue on the main path until you come across it). From the other side, go up and stick to the right of this platform. Once you get to the top right corner you should see a platform above you that you can reach by dashing. The collectible will be on this platform.

Archives Of The Firsts

Bestiary Page #26. From the first checkpoint, go down the stairs and then stick to the right. Keep to the right until you can go to the end of a hall to find the collectible at the end.

Bestiary Page #27. From the 3rd checkpoint, go up the stairs to the left. Then go all the way to the bottom and then find the collectible on your right.

Spider Toy #17. From the previous collectible, just go all the way to the left to find the spider toy.

Spider Toy #18. From the 4th checkpoint, take the top-right path. Then go up the thin brown path, then another thin brown path that goes up. You will then take a 3rd brown path to the right. At the end of this path dash to the wooden platform and go up to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #28. From the last checkpoint, head down until until you can only go left or right. Take the left path and press the switch under the breakable item to reveal a secret path that will take you to the collectible.

Waters Of Purification

Bestiary Page #29. From the first checkpoint, continue through the level until you cross a wooden plank with a small stream of water just after it. Here dash across the gap to the right to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #19. From the 3rd checkpoint use the green gate (if you don't have it unlocked just continue through the level until you find it). From the other side of the gate, break the wood below it to climb on to the roof of the building. Then jump down at the other end to find the spider toy.

Spider Toy #20. From the 3rd checkpoint continue through the level until you dash across a gap with a blue and green pieces of wood. Then go up inbetween 2 buildings and enter a cave. After coming out the left side of the cave you will find the collectible just past a waterfall.

Bestiary Page #30. From the 3rd checkpoint, continue through the level until you go past the green gate. Then continue right, sticking to the bottom cliff until you see a platform on the right that you can dash to with the collectible.

Bestiary Page #31. From the 4th checkpoint, continue through the level until you get to a building above you that 2 enemies come out of. The collectible can be found inside.

Caves Of Rebirth

Spider Toy #21. Once you get on the massive lift, look out for a platform with a lamp on your right. Stop the lift by hitting the middle button and find the spider toy inside.

Bestiary Page #32. Get back on the lift and continue down until you see a platform on your left with another lamp. Here stop the left and get off. Once inside you will have to stand on the switches at the same time as the enemy goes over that symbol. Once all switches are pressed you will be able to access the next room with the collectible in it.

Lighthouse Of Hope

Bestiary Page #33. From the 1st checkpoint, head down past the man lying on the floor and go through the small gap. Here take a left all the way to the end and then head all the way up to find the collectible.

Spider Toy #22. From the 1st checkpoint, head up in to the tunnels with the light beams. Here continue going up until you can go left. Here dash across a gap (be quick to not get hit by the light beams) and then go down in to the room with the collectible in it.

Bestiary Page #34. From the 1st checkpoint, head in to the tunnels. Once inside go left and then all the way to the top. Then go all the way to the right and go down to find a room on your right where the collectible is found.

Bestiary Page #35. From the 2nd checkpoint, continue through the level on the main path (jump down in to the big room and go up and left). Once you get to the lift below you (to continue on the main path), look for a room above you with the collectible in it.

Spider Toy #23. From the 3rd checkpoint, take the green gate (if you don't have it yet then advance through the level until you find it). From the other side of the gate, go down and then left at the light beam. Then go down and enter the room on your left to find the final Spider Toy.

Bestiary Page #36. From the 6th checkpoint, head down and then take the stairs down on your left. Then stick to the bottom the room until you see some stairs that go up to the left. You will find the collectible here.

Bestiary Page #37. From the 7th checkpoint, go down the slide to the right. Then just go to the right while sticking to the bottom wall until you find the collectible in the corner.

Absolute

Bestiary Page #38. From the first checkpoint, head left until you see a red spear type weapon in the round. Here go down to find the collectible.

Bestiary Page #39. From the 5th checkpoint, continue until you cross the second load of water. Here go down and press the switch on your left. Now stick to the bottom of the screen as you go right and go up the stairs. Then use the platform you just moved to get to another platform where you will then have to cross a platform on your left (if this platform is not here and is on the right, go down to the left and press the switch in the water area to move it to the left side) where you will find the collectible.
