The Quarry Family Matters Trophy Guide (How To Kill All Hackett Family Members)
In this guide we will show you how to kill every Hackett family member to get the "Family Matters" trophy / achievement in The Quarry.

To get the "Family Matters" trophy / achievement you will have to kill every member of the Hackett family in one playthrough. The members you will have to kill are Constance Hackett, Bobby Hackett, Jedediah Hackett, Chris Hackket, Travis Hackett & Caleb Hackett (Kaylee Hackett is not included since she dies automatically during the story no matter what you do).
🎯 Here are the steps you have to take to get the trophy / achievement.
Step 1. At the start of chapter 9, when Constance (Old Woman) is with Laura you will want to mash the X / A button to shoot her.
Step 2. In the same scene as the previous step, Bobby will stab Ryan. When you take control of Ryan DO NOT remove the knife.
Step 3. After controlling Laura during chapter 9, she will encounter Jedediah (old man). Here choose the "ATTACK" option to kill him.
Step 4. In the next scene in chapter 9 you will see Ryan and Bobby, here you will have to STAB bobby (this does not kill him right away, however he will now die during the encounter with the monsters).
Step 5. Straight after the previous step, Laura will suggest bitting Ryan to heal him. Here pick the "DECLINE" option.
Step 6. When controlling Abi in the basement (still chapter 9) pick up the silver bullet from off the ground.
Step 7. Later in chapter 9, Ryan & Laura will fall through the floor, here Ryan will aim the shotgun at the monster (that is chris), make sure you SHOOT HIM.
Step 8. Almost immediately after this, Ryan will die and you will have to succesfully do the QTE so that Laura gets to the shotgun before Travis. Once Laura has the shotgun, shoot Travis.
Step 9. During chapter 10 (controlling Kaitly) after choosing the BEAM OR WINDOW option you will want to choose RUN and then INVESTIGATE (this will make Kaitlyn get the silver bullet from Emma & Abi). This will allow to kill Caleb soon after.
The Trophy / achievement will pop after talking to Eliza at the end of the chapter.
