This guide will show you how to fight the new version of Culex added to the remake of Super Mario RPG. Follow the steps below to find the new boss…
Step #1. First, go to Moleville and enter the north-west house. Inside buy some Fireworks for 500 coins from the NPC in green. Then, head outside and trade them for the Shiny Stone with the girl outside.
Step #2. Head to Mostro Town and use the Shiny Stone to open the locked door and fight the original Culex boss.
Step #3. You will now have to finish the main story and create a cleared save. Once you load the cleared save you will get a Stay Voucher.
Step #4. Use the Stay Vaucher to stay the night at the Marrymore Hotel (once in the room, interact with the light to go to sleep).
Step #5. Head to the 3rd area in Star Hill and listen to Geno.
Step #6. You will now have to win rematches against stronger versions of 6 bosses. First, get to the end of the Moleville Mines and fight Punchinella.
Step #7. Go to the top of Booster Tower and defeat Booster.
Step #8. Go to the chapel in Marrymore and defeat the Cake.
Step #9. Head to the end of the Sunken Ship and defeat Johnny.
Step #10. Go to Monstro Town and defeat Jinx (you may have to defeat him the previous 3 times if you did not do so during the main story).
Step #11. Head to Belome Temple and defeat Belome.
Step #12. Once you have defeated all 6 rematches, the door in Monstro Town will appear again. Head inside to fight the new 3d version of Culex!
