Road 96: Mile 0 All Tape Locations (Song Harvester Trophy Guide)
There are a total of 14 tapes in Roas 96: Mile 0. Once you get them all you will get the “Song Harvester” trophy / achievement. Most tapes are missable, however if you start a new game after the credits, all tapes will carry over from the previous playthrough. Here are the locations of all 14 tapes.
ACT 1
Tape #1 (Aya's Memory). After the first ride of the game you will be in K & Z's Hideout. The tape can be found on the Arcade Machine once Kaito leaves.
Tape #2 (Party Hunt). This tape can be found in any of the covered red bins the 1st time you visit the 3 main areas (Oasis Villas, Presidential Park & Tyrak Square). The bin is random so just keep searching them all until you come across it. Just remember it has to be during your first visit to these areas. The tape is normally in the first area you pick to visit but if you don't find it in any of the bins just search all the bins during your first visit to the other 2 areas.
Tape #3 (Happy Endings). After finishing the "Split World" ride (after your first visit to Tyrak Square) you will play Truth or Dare. ON ROUND 3 MAKE SURE YOU PICK "DARE" AND JUMP INTO THE DUMPSTER where you will find the tape.
Tape #4 (A Taste Of Freedom). After finishing the first 3 rides in act 1 (after your first visit to the first 3 areas in the game) you will have the task of going to talk to Kaito at his apartment. Before you go there, go to Tyrak Square. Once here, look in all the red covered bins until you find the tape. Just like last time the bin you find the tape in will be random, so search them all. If you don't find it here, check the bins in Presidential Park & Oasis Villas.
Tape #5 (1989 Troubles). As soon as you open the door to the rooftops in Worker Dormitory, the tape will be on the bench to the left where the radio is.
ACT 2
Tape #6 (Land Locked Heart), #7 (The Offspring) & #8 (Shamisen Chikara). Once you are walking around Oasis Villas with the walkie Talkie, search all the covered red bins until you find the 3 tapes. They will be in random bins so check them all. If you don't find one of them here, you can also find them by searching the bins around Tyrak Square after the police interrogation in the next part of the story.
Tape #9 (Sonya's Limo). After leaving Zoe's house, go to the hut to the right of the house to the left of the palace gate. Enter code 8696 to get in. The tape can be found below the potrait.
Tape #10 (The Other Side). After the police interrogation you will wake up as Kaito. In his house, go into the bedroom to find the tape on the floor.
Tape #11 (Ten More Years Of Tyrak). After the speach at Presidential Park (and finishing the "Ten More Years" ride), return to the park where the stage is. Here you will find it in the case where the interviewer is.
Tape #12 (Petrial National Anthem). As you try and get access to the palace, you will sneak into Steve's hut. Inside, the tape will be on your right.
Act 3
Tape #13 (Partners In Crime). As Zoe you will be in her bedroom packing your bag to leave the city. Keep packing things from your room until you can pick up and pack the tape that is found near the record player behind the bed.
Tape #14 (The Final Fight). Obtained automatically after the credits.
