Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl How To Get Feebas & Milotic (How To Evolve Feebas) BDSP
In this guide we will show you how to get the very rare Pokémon Feebas & evolve him / her into Milotic in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.
Feebas (and Milotic) are infamous for being some of the hardest Pokémon to get your hands on in the Gen IV games, and if you think this has changed for the remakes you are (pretty much) out of luck since they have used the same mechanic.
The way to get Feebas and Milotic is the following:
Feebas: You will first have to get through some of the story until you have Strength, Surf & Defog (Defog is not 100% necessary and can be obtained from the NPC to the right as soon as you enter the Safari zone in Pastoria City).
Once you have all those moves you will want to enter Mt. Coronet from Celestic Town, once inside head up and move the rock with strength, then go all the way to the top and down the stairs to your left, once in the basement use defog and then jump in the lake with surf.
Now comes the annoying part… Each day 4 tiles in this lake will be selected at random, on these 4 tiles you have a 50%-70% chance of encountering a Feebas by fishing with the super rod or good rod, the best way to do this would be to start in one of the corners and fish at least 2 times and have 2 encounters, if you do not find a Feebas them move 1 tile (use the D-Pad since that will move the character 1 tile at a time) and try again, there really isn’t much more to it… just remember that at midnight the tiles will change and you will have to go back and start again to make sure you don’t miss Feebas. GOOD LUCK!
Milotic: Now you have got yourself a Feebas (congrats!!), I’m sure you will want to evolve it into Milotic, to do this you will want to raise the beauty of Feebas, luckily this is easier than it may sound!
First you will want to go to the house with the heart shape on it (to the right of the poke shop in Hearthome City) and talk to the elder NPC to get the poffin case.
Once you have the poffin case you will want to go to the house to the left of the poke shop, here you will be able to make poffins with your berries, the best way to get beauty up is by making dry poffins with 1 Chesto Berry & 1 Razz Berry (Both very common), each time you will receive 2 dry berries, you will want to make at least 10 (so you will need 5 of each berry).
Once you have the 10 berries give them to Feebas and his / her beauty will rise! After that just give Feebas a rare candy and you should now have Milotic!
