There are a total of 4 new machines in the Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West. Scanning them all will get you the “All New Machines Scanned” trophy. To do this, walk up to the machine and hold the R3 button. Here are the locations.
Horus. You will encounter this boss automatically during the main DLC quests.
Stingspawn
Bilegut Site
Waterwing. You will not be able to find Waterwings around the map until you play through the main quest where you override a Waterwing.
