Hogwarts Legacy The Hippogriff Marks The Spot Side Quest Guide (Treasure Map Solution)
You can start “The Hippogriff Marks The Spot” side quest by picking up the map in the Poidsear Coast region (if the map is not there, you will have to advance the main story a little more).
To solve this treasure map you will first need to get the Glacius & Incendio spells. These are both obtained by finishing assignments that become available as you advance the main story.
Once you have those 2 spells, head to the very bottom of the Manor Cape reagion and head around the right side of the ruins to find an entrance to a cave.
In the first room, use incendio on the statue to the left of the room to reveal a second cube. Place the cube with the flame on the circle with the flame and then do the same with the ice cube. Once both cubes are in place, use Incendio on the cube with the flame and Glacius on the other. This will give you access to the next room.
Once you get in to the room with the statue, first clear the room of enemies. Then use Glacius and Incedio to extinguish and light the flames around the statue so they match the flames on the map. This will reveal the treasure in a secret room behind the statue.
