This guide will show you where to get every piece of Equipment in Cat Quest 3. These are divided into the following categories:

Here are the locations of every piece:

HEAD

Antares’ Cavalier. Obtained at the end of Antares Ruins after defeating the boss.

Arcane Mage Hat. Found in a chest just before you climb the ladder to the boss fight in The Twin Castle Manor.

Clawford’s Hat. Found at the end of Chapter 3 in Lovepurr Castle. You will first have to find the 3 Lovepurr chronicle books (GUIDE HERE).

Dractcula’s Topper. Found in the Eight Bit Castle. After defeating the boss at the end, go back down the stairs and enter the door on the left to find the Topper in the chest.

Fire Mage Hat. Found in the Fire Pi-Rat Hideout. This dungeon can be found on Sunset Islands. After going up the first ladder, go right and use any wand to dash through the fireballs. On the other side, go down the ladder and open the chest on the other side of the fireballs.

Fishercat Hat. Destroy the enemy ships around the fisherman on the northern edge of Straits Island to start the “Furlorn Fishercat” side quest. Then go around the map catching the fish until you get the hat (you will randomly get this hat or the attire). All Fish locations HERE.

Gentlebro Hat. First look for a small gap in the southern edge of the map between the 4 and 5 latitude markers (just south of Furggy Island). You can leave the map through the gap. On the other side, follow the patches of different coloured water until you find some NPCS. Talk to them and grab the 3 notes in the area (one the the right, one to the left and the other above the NPCS). You will then be rewarded with the hat and a few other things.

Golden Helm. Found on the third floor of the Golen Tower on Purvanna. You will first need to find the keys. All key locations HERE.

Gunner Eyepatch. Found in a chest in Furrlorn Cave. This cave can be found on the western side of Purvanna.

Ice Mage Hat. Found in a chest inside Ice Pi-Rat Hideout. This dungeon can be found on Straits Island. Once inside, go left and up the ladder. Then go up one more ladder to find the chest containing the hat on your left.

Knight Hat. Obtained by finishing the “One Cats Treasure…” side quest on Purvanna. You can start it by talking to the cat on the tower just south of the spiky mine field in the water between Straits Island and Purvanna.

Meowtallika Helm. Found inside Orion Ruins on Furtigua. Once inside, continue to the third floor. Here you will find the chest containing the helm in the middle of the room protected by some enemies.

Meowtallika’s Tricorne. Obtained by defeating Meowtallika. You can find Meowtallika at Meowtallika’s concert, a dungeon on the southern edge of Purvanna (you can only access it by boat). You will only be able to go inside if you have a ticket. You will get this ticket automatically during the main story once you finish Polaris Ruins.

Oinker Headdress. Obtained at the end of Centauri Ruins after the boss fight. This dungeon can be found on Twilight islands after interacting with the 2 yellow beam totems.

Orion’s Cavalier. Obtained at the end of Orion Ruins after defeating the boss. You can find this dungeon on Furtigua.

Patchy’s Hood. Obtained at the end of the “Patchy’s Booty” side quest. You can start this quest by talking to Patchy outside Booty Cave on Purvanna.

Pi-Rat King’s Bicorne. Go to Furggy Island and defeat the Pi-Rat Boss found near the top of the island. Then defeat the Undying (the ship off the northern shore of this same island). Then Return to the area where you defeated the Pi-Rat boss and examine the dragon’s corpse. Finally, defeat the Pi-Rat King to get the Bicorne.

Pirate Bandana. Found in the chest on the left shore of Catuga.

Purrivateer Hat. Go to Furrgy Island and destroy the rock on the southeast shore.

Purccaneer Bandana. Found by destroying th red starfish on the beach to the right of the Monster Researcher on Purvanna.

Purrmaid Helm. Start the “Mermaid’s Booty” side quest on Sunset Islands by talking to the mermaid. You will then be able to find and interact with 8 water pools around the world. Each one will give you a treasure. This helm will randomly drop from these pools. All Pool locations HERE.

Rogue Bandana. Found by destroying the red starfish on Sandy Islands.

Spicy Bandana. Found in a chest inside Spicy Cave on Sunset Islands.

Takomeowki’s Bicorne. Obtained automatically during the story once you defeat Takomeowki.

BODY

Antares’ Armor. Obtained at the end of Polaris Ruins.

Arcane Mage Vest. Found in Twin Castle Manor. First, enter the right side building, defeat the enemies and examine the locked gate to get the “Twin Main Entrance Key”. Now enter the left tower and go through the door on your left, go up the ladder and then go right to find another ladder you can climb down. At the bottom of this ladder, examine the gate to get the “Twin Dining Hall Key”. Finally, enter the right side tower, go left and climb the ladder. At the top, go left to find the Arcane Mage Vest.

Clawford’s Vest. Obtained at the end of chapter 3 in Lovepurr Castle on Lovepurr Island. You will first need to find the 3 books (guide HERE).

Dratcula’s Coat. Found in the Eight Bit Castle. After defeating the boss at the end, go back to the entrance (without leaving) and go right. Go up the stairs and then through the door on your left. Go past the painting and through another door. Here, talk to the painting to get the Coat.

Fire Mage Vest. Found inside the Fire Pi-Rat Hideout on Sunset Islands. Once inside, climb the first ladder, then go left. Climb another ladder and defeat the enemies to continue through the gate on the right. Go through the door on the other side to find the vest in a chest.

Fishercat Attire. Destroy the enemy ships around the fisherman on the northern edge of Straits Island to start the “Furlorn Fishercat” side quest. Then go around the map catching the fish until you get the hat (you will randomly get this hat or the attire). All Fish locations HERE.

Gunner Vest. Found in a chest on Lovepurr Islands. You can find the chest to the right of Lovepurr Castle.

Ice Mage Vest. Found in the Ice Pi-Rat Hideout on Straits Island. Once inside, go left and climb the ladder. Here pull the chain on your right. Next, return to the first room and climb the ladder on the right side. At the top, go through the door on your right to find the vest in a chest guarded by some enemies.

Knight Armor. First, approach the north of Twilight Isles from the sea and examine the Lost And Found statue. Then, go around the island and approach the northern part of the island from below (you should be right below the statue you just examined). Examine the ground just left of the Rest Beakon to get the Smithy Hammer. Take this hammer to Kidd Cat at the Blacksmiths on Purvanna to get the armor.

Meowtallika Shirt. Found in Orion Ruins on Furtigua. You will find the shirt in a chest on the second floor.

Meowtallika’s Jacket. Obtained by defeating Meowtallika. You can find Meowtallika at Meowtallika’s Concert, a dungeon on the southern edge of Purvanna (you can only access it by boat). You will only be able to go inside if you have a ticket. You will get this ticket automatically during the main story once you finish Polaris Ruins.

Oinker Garments. Found in a chest on Twilight Isles. From the Rest Beakon near the northern edge of the main island, go right to find a blue rock totem. From the totem, go south to find the chest in the bushes.

Orion’s Armor. Found in Polaris Ruins on Purvanna (you will only be able to access these ruins after clearing the other 3 ruins). You will get the armor once you clear the blue stone puzzle on the third floor.

Patchy’s Coat. Obtained at the end of the “Patchy’s Booty” side quest. You can start it by talking to Patchy on Purvanna just outside Booty Cave.

Pi-Rat King’s Coat. Go to Furggy Island and defeat the Pi-Rat Boss found near the top of the island. Then defeat the Undying (the ship off the northern shore of this same island). Then Return to the area where you defeated the Pi-Rat boss and examine the dragon’s corpse. Finally, defeat the Pi-Rat King to get the Coat

Pirate Shirt. Obtained automatically at the start of the game.

Purrivateer Vest. Found by destroying the red starfish just southeast of the Eight Bit Castle on a small sand island.

Purccaneer Shirt. Found in a chest on Purvanna. The chest can be found just north of Meowtallika’s Concert on the other side of the mountain.

Rogue Vest. Destroy the rock in the middle of a triangle made of wood just north of the Rest Beakon on the western shore of Furtigua.

Spicy Vest. Found in a chest on Sunset Islands. The chest is found just south of the entrance to Spicy Cave.

Takomeowki’s Coat. Obtained automatically during the story once you defeat Takomeowki.

MELEE

Blade Of Orion. Found in Orion Ruins on Furtigua. After defeating the boss, return to the second floor and open the chest that was behind a gate.

Bloodsucker. Obtained after defeating the boss in The Eight Bit Castle. This dungeon can be found in the northwest corner of the map.

Death’s Hook. Go to Furggy Island and defeat the Pi-Rat Boss found near the top of the island. Then defeat the Undying (the ship off the northern shore of this same island). Then Return to the area where you defeated the Pi-Rat boss and examine the dragon’s corpse. Finally, defeat the Pi-Rat and exit the dungeon to find the chest with the weapon inside.

Golden Shield. Found in the Golden Tower on Purvanna after defeating the boss inside. You will first need to find the keys. All key locations HERE.

Heartbreaker & Heartmender. Obtained after finishing “The Lovepurr Chronicles” side quest in Lovepurr Castle. You will first need to find the 3 books (guide HERE).

Knight Shield. Examine the Lost And Found statue on the west end of Purrier Beach on Purvanna. Then follow the beach to the right and examine the sand just right of the group of 4 starfish to get the Jug o’ Milk. Give this to Mama Milka at the Inn to get the shield.

Meowtallika Axe. It is found on the northeast beach of Purvanna (just west of the smaller island).

Oinker Shield. Found in Centauri Ruins on Twilight Isles. Inside, go up the stairs until you see a painting of some stairs. Here, turn around and go back down the stairs to find the chest with the shield inside.

Patchy’s Claws. Obtained at the end of the “Patchy’s Booty” side quest. You can start it by talking to Patchy on Purvanna just outside Booty Cave.

Pirate Cutlass. Obtained automatically at the start of the game.

Purccaneer Cutlass. Found outside Furst Cave on the small island just northwest of Longs Island.

Rogue Claw. Found in a chest on Purvanna. You will find this chest in between the mountains just southwest of the Golden Tower.

The Dragonbone. First, approach the north of Twilight Isles from the sea and examine the Lost And Found statue. Then, go around the island and approach the northern part of the island from below (you should be right below the statue you just examined). Examine the ground just left of the Rest Beakon to get the Smithy Hammer. Take this hammer to Kidd Cat at the Blacksmiths and he will ask you to get a Dragon Bone. Next, go to Furggy Island and defeat the Pi-Rat Boss found near the top of the island. Then defeat the Undying (the ship off the northern shore of this same island). Return to the area where you defeated the Pi-Rat boss and examine the dragon’s corpse. Inside, defeat the Pi-Rat to get the Dragon Bone. Take this to Kidd Cat to get the weapon.

The Rocker. Obtained by defeating Meowtallika. You can find Meowtallika at Meowtallika’s Concert, a dungeon on the southern edge of Purvanna (you can only access it by boat). You will only be able to go inside if you have a ticket. You will get this ticket automatically during the main story once you finish Polaris Ruins.

Tri-Claws. Start the “Mermaid’s Booty” side quest on Sunset Islands by talking to the mermaid. You will then be able to find and interact with 8 water pools around the world. Each one will give you a treasure. This weapon will randomly drop from these pools. All Pool locations HERE.

Tsurai. Obtained by defeating Takomeowki during the main story.

RANGED

Arcane Wand. Found at the end of The Twin Castle Manor on Twin Islands after you defeat the boss.

Blunderpuss. Obtained automatically at the start of the game.

Fire Wand. Obtained on the first floor of Antares Ruins.

Furlintlock. Can be found in a chest on Purvanna. Talk to the NPC on the beach outside the Magic Bone (spell upgrade shop) and hit the bush he mentions.

Ice Wand. Obtained by defeating the boss at the end of the Ice Pi-Rat dungeon found on Straits Island.

Meowchine Gun. Found in the Ruined Castle on Purvanna. After defeating the boss at the end of the dungeon, go back through the door and then through the next door on your right to find the chest containing the gun.

Squiderpuss. Found at the end of the Spicy Cave on Sunset Islands.

Stave Of Antares. Can be found in Antares Ruins. After defeating the boss, walk back past the rest/save bird and climb down the stairs to find the chest containing the staff.

The Architect. First look for a small gap in the southern edge of the map between the 4 and 5 latitude markers (just south of Furggy Island). You can leave the map through the gap. On the other side, follow the patches of different coloured water until you find some NPCS. Talk to them and grab the 3 notes in the area (one the the right, one to the left and the other above the NPCS). You will then be rewarded with the weapon and a few other things.

The Son’s Rod. Obtained by finishing “The Son’s Rod” side quest. You can start this by destroying the ships on the northern shore of Straits Island next to the NPC that is fishing. To finish this quest you will have to catch every fish. Guide HERE.

TRINKET

Bird Poop. Obtained by attacking the bird at any of the rest beakons until it flies away.

Board Tusk. Obtained during the “Going Pawstal” side quest. You can start it by talking to the dog on top of the tower in the northeastern part of Purvanna. Just follow the quest markers to finish the quest.

Bomb Satchel. Can be dropped by the enemies using bombs. You can find some on Catuga.

Chimeowra Claw. Obtained by finishing “The Monster Researcher” side quest. You can start this side quest by talking to the NPC on the tower on the southeastern shore of Purvanna. Bring him the 3 enemies and defeat him to finish it (full guide HERE).

Electric Circuit.Can be dropped by the electric enemies. You can find some on Furtigua.

Flame Crystal. Can be dropped by the flame enemies that have crystals on their heads on Sunset Islands.

Hearty Milk. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing Bounties at the Inn (all bounty locations HERE).

Ice Crystal. Can be dropped by the ice enemies inside the Ice Pi-Rat Hideout on Straits Island.

Lousy Boots & Lousy Gloves. Obtained during the “One Cat’s Treasure…” side quest. You can start this side quest by talking to the NPC on the tower just north of Coral Lake on Purvanna.

Magic Milk. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing Bounties at the Inn (all bounty locations HERE).

Magic Purse. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing blue stone puzzles (all puzzle locations HERE).

Magical Glove. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing blue stone puzzles (all puzzle locations HERE).

Magical Punching Bag. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing blue stone puzzles (all puzzle locations HERE).

Meowtallika’s Pick. Obtained by defeating Meowtallika. You can find Meowtallika at Meowtallika’s Concert, a dungeon on the southern edge of Purvanna (you can only access it by boat). You will only be able to go inside if you have a ticket. You will get this ticket automatically during the main story once you finish Polaris Ruins.

Oinker Necklace. Found on Twilight Isles. You can find this chest just northwest of the west side tower you have to interact with to open Centauri Ruins.

Pawer Milk. Randomly obtained from chests rewarded to you for finishing Bounties at the Inn (all bounty locations HERE).

The Furst Mail. Obtained for finishing the “Going Pawstal” side quest. You can start it by talking to the dog on top of the tower in the northeastern part of Purvanna. Just follow the quest markers to finish the quest.

The Necropawmicon. Obtained by defeating the boss at the end of the Twin Castle Manors dungeon.

Warrior’s Braid. Obtained at the end of Furst Cave. You can find this cave on the small island just northwest of Long Island.

Weird Mushroom. Randomly obtained from chests after defeating bosses in the Infinity Tower.
